Peter Gilliver: Art and Crafts
During cover-19 lock down I finished a number of paintings and started new ones. I started using a wet on wet technique, with my oils and enjoy the speed and flexibility of the technique.
Over the summer of 2014 I spent time in Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario Canada, on a wilderness canoe trip with my family. The following were painted during the trip or just after. The influence of the park in Canadian art is clear to see and the Seven are renowned for their work of Algonquin. It was privilege to spend time there, getting to experience the beauty and wilds of the park.
